My name is Kim Logie. I live and work in Marin County, CA. I am a board certified Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) who has worked in the health care industry for 25+ years. I have worked in Canada and the USA in acute care, inpatient care - both short and long term rehabilitation, outpatient, home health, emergency and ICU. My passion is working with people to optimize health and function after an illness, accident, injury and/or general decline. I specialize in neurology but have worked in the fields of orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, oncology, transplants, cardiology, pulmonary, general surgery, internal medicine, osteoporosis and foot care.

You are in the need for holistic OT services based on your illness, accident and/or injury. I evaluate your physical, cognitive and mental functions using standardized and non-standardized assessment tools. I devise a treatment plan for you based on your impairments and challenges in your daily life so you can perform the tasks you want to do and the tasks that you need to do. I address your personal self-care functions (dressing, bathing, toileting, eating, etc), your daily functions in your home and community, your leisure pursuits and your work related occupations. We work together, in collaboration, to help you achieve maximum independence and function in your life. Client centered goal attainment is the outcome of our therapy sessions.

FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
No I do not. I am not contracted with any medical insurance plans. However, I can provide you with a super bill to submit to your insurance for out of network reimbursement.
How much do you charge?
I charge $135 for an initial evaluation that includes 1-1.5 hours of my time plus a detailed written description of our visit.
I charge $100 for a treatment session for one hour.
Where do we meet you?
I meet you at your home or in your community. I drive to see you and not the other way around.
Do your bring stuff with you?
I have therapy equipment in my OT toolbox and, can recommend any OT therapy related product that you may need.
Do you have medical malpractice insurance/CPR?
I carry professional liability insurance through HPSO. I am CPR certified through the American Heart Association. Please know that I will provide you with the utmost care and safety when we are working together.
